Resolving mechanism provides direct access to the identified data using one chosen physical location (or resource). If more than one physical locations providing the data are recorded in the Registry, then you can access them via the top banner or by using a profile.

Relationship to MIRIAM Registry is an additional layer built upon the information stored in MIRIAM Registry. The Registry provides the necessary information to allow users to generate unique, perennial and unambiguous identifiers for scientific data. provides resolving services for handling those resolvable identifiers, allowing them to be directly used within a Web browser.

The content of the Registry is open to community contributions, therefore new submissions and corrections are strongly encouraged.
